The Soul-Mate หรือชื่อเดิมว่า Wonderful Ghost เป็นภาพยนตร์แนวสืบสวนอาชญากรรมผสมคอมมาดี้และดราม่า (Comedy-Crime-Drama) เรื่องราวของ แทจิน (คิมยองกวาง) เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจผู้ประสบอุบัติเหตุระหว่างสืบสวนคดี จนทำให้วิญญาณของเขาหลุดออกจากร่าง เขาได้กลายเป็นวิญญาณเร่ร่อน จนกระทั่งเขาพบว่าคนที่สามารถมองเห็นวิญญาณของเขาได้มีเพียง ครูสอนยูโดนามว่า จางซู (มาดงซ็อก) พวกเขาจึงต้องร่วมมือกันสะสางคดีที่ค้างคาเพื่อค้นหาความจริงเบื้องหลังการตายและมิตรภาพต่างภพก็ได้บังเกิดขึ้น
