ภาพยนตร์ฟอร์มยักษ์ดัดแปลงจากนิยายขายดีจากจีน “จูเซียน กระบี่เทพสังหาร” หรือ “Jade Dynasty” หรืออีกชื่อ “The Attack of Heaven” นวนิยายชื่อดัง ที่เขียนโดย “เสี่ยวติง” (Xiao Ding) มียอดขายบนอินเตอร์เน็ตอันดับหนึ่ง ในปี 2005 และมียอดขายติด TOP5 ในปี 2006 ก่อนจะถูกนำมาสร้างเป็นซีรีส์และเกมส์ออนไลน์ จนล่าสุดกับฉบับภาพยนตร์ที่ Golden A Entertainmnet ได้นำเข้ามาฉายในประเทศไทย
