เรื่องย่อ True Grit (2010) ยอดคนจริง

หลังจากที่พ่อของเธอถูกฆาตกรรมโดยมือสังหารรับจ้าง ทอม เชนนีย์ (จอช โบรลิน) เด็กสาวบ้านไร่วัย 14 ปี แม็ตตี้ รอส (เฮลีย์ สไตน์เฟลด์) ก็หมายมั่นที่จะจับตัวฆาตกรรายนี้ให้ได้ สำหรับผู้ช่วยเหลือเธอ เธอได้ว่าจ้าง นายทหารอเมริกันที่ทรหดที่สุดเท่าที่จะหาเธอได้ เป็น “คนจริง” เขาก็คือรูเบน เจ. “รูสเตอร์” ค็อกเบิร์น(เจฟฟ์ บริดเจส) แม็ตตี้ ยืนกรานที่จะติดสอยห้อยตามค็อกเบิร์น ผู้ซึ่งพฤติกรรมขี้เหล้าเมายา ขี้เกียจสันหลังยาวและไร้ศีลธรรม ซึ่งตัวตนของเขาไม่ได้ทำให้เธอเกิดศรัทธาในตัวเขาเลยซักนิด แม้เขาจะไม่เต็มใจ เธอก็ได้ร่วมเดินทางกับเขาเพื่อตามหาเชนนีย์ในถิ่นของพวกอินเดียแดงให้เจอ ก่อนที่ทหารเรนเจอร์เท็กซัสที่ชื่อ ลาบัฟ (แมตต์ เดม่อน) ที่ต้องการตัวเชนนีย์เพื่อจะนำตัวกลับไปที่เท็กซัสในคดีสังหารชายอีกคนหนึ่ง ทั้งสามต่างก็ได้พบทั้งอันตรายและเรื่องที่ท้าทาย ระหว่างการเดินทางและแต่ละคนต่างก็ถูกทดสอบความเป็นคน “จริง” ของตัวเอง!!!
