เรื่องย่อ Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) ยุทธการช้างลอยฟ้า

ระหว่างสงครามเวียดนาม หมู่บ้านแห่งหนึ่งที่ทหารอเมริกันใช้เป็นจุดสอดแนมช้างที่นั่นถูกฆ่าตายโดยทหารฝ่ายเวียดนามเหนือเนื่องจากพวกเขาให้ความร่วมมือกับฝ่ายอเมริกัน ชาวบ้านจึงอยากจะจัดพิธีบูชาให้ช้างขึ้นในสัปดาห์นั้น กัปตัน แซม คาฮิล (แดนนี่ โกลเวอร์) จึงขอยืมช้างตัวอื่นเพื่อเดินทางข้ามทางใต้ของเวียดนามไปยังหมู่บ้านแห่งนั้นให้ทันเวลาจัดงานโดยระหว่างการเดินทางครั้งนี้ เขาได้พบอุปสรรคต่างๆ มากมายทั้งความขัดแย้งส่วนตัวรวมทั้งทหารฝ่ายเวียดนามเหนือ ที่ยังคงต้องการให้ทหารอเมริกันออกจากหมู่บ้านไปให้ได้
